About the job Accounting Manager
Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop and manage the annual budgeting process.
- Provide insightful analysis of variances between actual results and budget/forecast.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Audit and Compliance:
- Coordinate and manage external audits.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
- Streamline accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity to support daily operations.
- Implement strategies to optimize cash management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred.
- Proven experience 10+ years in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and compliance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
