Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Officer to join our finance team. As an Accounting Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key responsibilities:
- Performing daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Preparing and maintaining various financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements
- Assisting with budget preparation and cost analysis
- Reconciling financial discrepancies by investigating and resolving any differences
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience as an Accounting Officer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting procedures and financial reporting
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
