Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified Accounting Officer to join our team. As an Accounting Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. You will also assist in the preparation of budgets, financial statements, and tax filings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, regulations, and legal requirements.
- Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying any discrepancies or issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide support in decision-making processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
