Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Performs bookkeeping functions
• Responsible for other accounting-related roles such as tax audits and tax returns
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
• Prepares accounting-related reports as needed by the management
• Supports accounting operations by filing documents; reconciling statements; running software programs, preparing and submitting Value-Added Tax, Withholding Tax, and Sales & Purchases report to BIR
• Month/year-end closing preparation of general journals, accruals, and general ledger
• Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
• Guides accounting staff by coordinating activities and answering questions

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Accountancy
• Certified Public Accountant is preferred but not necessary
• At least 3 years of work experience in Financial/General Accounting and Taxation
• With experience in Accounting software is an advantage
• Applicants must be willing to work in Manila
• Must be able to communicate in English both oral and written
• Performs other work-related functions as may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time
• Ability to work interdependently to organize, attention to details & priorities demands handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, and handle high-pressure situations.
