Job Description

As an Accounting Manager at J-II Builders, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and integrity of our organization. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, manage a team of skilled professionals, and contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day tasks.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Audit Management: Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Compliance: Stay abreast of changes in accounting regulations and ensure the company’s adherence to relevant financial laws and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation is highly desirable.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.

Salary: From Php20,00.00 per month
