Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Supervisor. As an Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our accounting department, including managing a team of accountants and ensuring accurate financial records.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervise, coach, and train a team of accountants to ensure efficient and accurate day-to-day accounting operations
- Review financial transactions, reconciliations, and general ledger activities to ensure compliance with accounting principles
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts for management review
- Monitor and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and support for business decisions
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices
To be successful in this role, you should have a solid understanding of accounting principles and excellent leadership skills. A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required, along with at least five years of relevant work experience in a supervisory role.
