Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Supervisor. The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with government regulations.
The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, along with at least 5 years of relevant work experience. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software are also required. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively with team members.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and government regulations.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
