Job Description
As an Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department within our organization. You will be managing a team of accountants and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and coordinating the work of the accounting team
- Reviewing financial statements, ensuring they adhere to GAAP standards
- Assessing internal controls and implementing improvements
- Managing the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Preparing financial analysis and reports for management
- Collaborating with other departments on budgeting and forecasting
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and reporting
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in accounting, excellent leadership skills, and attention to detail. A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required, and CPA certification is preferred.
