Job Description
JD
- Maintains the company’s General Ledger and ensures that all transactions are correctly posted and have the necessary supporting documentation.
- Ensures timely tax and other regulatory remittances and reports including VAT, Withholding Taxes, Income Tax, and other statutory returns (SS, PHIC, HDMF).
- Spearhead the financial statement audit and tax audit by preparing account schedules and reconciliations, vouching and collating supporting documents or reports.
- Prepares regular and ad hoc Accounting reports as required by the business and support the Finance Manager.
- Participates in the preparation and monitoring of the company’s budget.
- Assist in maintaining electronic and manual archives of finance-related files by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of financial accounting and reporting procedures.
- Follow company policies and protocols.
