Job Description
As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable department. Your responsibilities will include processing invoices, maintaining accurate records, reconciling statements, and assisting with month-end closing activities.
You will be expected to communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices. Attention to detail and a strong understanding of financial processes are essential in this role.
Key qualifications for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of basic accounting principles, and experience working with accounting software. Strong organizational and time management skills are also required.
