Job Description
The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and ensuring prompt payment to vendors. This role involves verifying transactions, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Review and verify invoices and check requests
- Prepare and process payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing processes
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status
The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software. Prior experience in accounts payable or a related field is preferred.
