Job Description
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization. This role involves receiving, processing, reconciling, and verifying invoices and creating purchase orders so that project costs can be allocated correctly.
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
- Track vendor invoices and submit for approval for payment.
- Maintain original vendor invoice filing system.
- Verify and investigate discrepancies if any.
- Support expense report processing as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of Accounts Payable experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or accounting coursework preferred.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong data entry skills and hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift.
- Day shift.
- Monday to Friday.
