Job Description
Our client, BMG Outsourcing, is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer who can contribute to helping clients achieve their business objectives.
Job Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Creating invoices in the ERP system (NetSuite)
- Ensuring accuracy of expense coding, GST coding, due dates, approval status, and bill narration
- Managing a shared Accounts Payable inbox
- Responding to vendor queries and providing remittances
- Reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies
- Filing, maintaining, and reconciling accounts
- Performing other ad hoc tasks as needed
- Working efficiently with a high level of accuracy, especially during peak transaction times
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with Australian or US clients
- Professional experience in accounts payable
- Proficiency in accounting software like NetSuite preferred
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, strong work ethic, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deliver quality work with minimal supervision
