Qualifications

• Candidate must be graduate of any accounting related courses. BSA graduate preferred
• With 1-2 years’ experience in AP Processing, government related filing
• Knowledge of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles
• Analysis of Accounting data
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must be reliable and responsible; and must have the ability to work independently with little direct supervision
• 1 full-time position available

Job Description

• Implementation of FDC guidelines for payables processing
• Prepares accounts payable vouchers for trade and non-trade purchases, payroll and employee related expenditures (e.g. rice subsidy, transportation)
• Prepares expanded tax certificate in coordination with Treasury officer for checks issued
• Prepares list of checks for release from Treasury Officer for endorsement to receptionist and secure compliance to process upon return of the check voucher and unreleased checks
• Sorts released check vouchers, stamped as “PAID” check voucher and related supporting documents with OR/CR reference issued by the supplier
• Prepares and submits weekly and monthly AP Report and Advances to suppliers
• Prepares and submits monthly summary of input vat to Finance Analyst-AR. Prepares and submit monthly 1600, 1601C, 1601E and 1601F to Finance Manager for review
• Reconciles accounts payables with suppliers on a monthly basis and meet with suppliers for resolution of issues including reconciliation of general ledger and subsidiary ledger
• Prepares BIR 2307 Certificates
• Safekeeping of accountable documents and file according to document and series
• Ensure compliance with BIR requirements of the invoices and OR issued by the supplier
