Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and verifying invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Matching invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation.
  • Entering and coding invoices into the accounting system.
  • Preparing and processing payments, including checks and electronic transfers.
  • Reconciling vendor statements and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Assisting with month-end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
  • Responding to vendor inquiries and resolving payment-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable role.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
