Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately processing invoices and ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
Key responsibilities:
- Review and verify invoices and check requests
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents
- Enter invoices into the accounting system
- Process weekly payment runs
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions
- Monitor vendor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any discrepancies
Requirements:
- Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role
- Proficient in using accounting software
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
