As an Accounts Payable professional, your main responsibility will be to ensure timely and accurate processing of all payments for a company. This involves verifying invoices, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining vendor relationships.
You will also be tasked with keeping detailed records of transactions, preparing reports for management, and assisting with month-end closings. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software are essential for this role.
