Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for managing the company’s accounts receivable activities and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding payments. Key responsibilities include analyzing customer accounts, monitoring payment terms, reconciling discrepancies, and communicating with clients to resolve payment issues.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting and financial analysis, with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using accounting software and knowledge of credit control procedures are also required.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor customer accounts receivable
- Review and analyze payment terms and conditions
- Ensure customers adhere to agreed payment terms
- Investigate and resolve any billing or payment discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer payments
- Communicate with clients to address payment delinquencies and resolve outstanding issues
- Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of credit control procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
