Job Description
Reports to the Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue ORs for walk-in clients and ensure all collections are properly documented and deposited.
- Encode ORs to SQL to ensure it’s been properly entered and Sales Invoices are knocked off in the system.
- Prepare deposit slips and make sure that all dated cheques and cash collections are deposited on a specified date and time.
- Prepare daily AR Collection Reports that include overdue accounts, PDC cheques on hand, Invoices and Aging summaries. Submit the report to the Accounting Manager and the CEO.
- Update the call list and aim to collect all outstanding receivables.
- Prepare SOA, Collection Letter, and Demand Letter and ensure collection of all outstanding accounts.
- Prepare credit approval letters and ensure that clients are informed about their updated credit limit to boost sales.
