Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable / Cash Application Specialist. As part of our Finance Department, you will play a crucial role in managing the timely and accurate application of payments received, ensuring the integrity of our financial records.
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify customer payments against invoices
- Accurately apply cash receipts to customer accounts
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies
- Communicate with customers to address payment-related queries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of payment transactions
- Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in accounts receivable or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
