Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Officer/Manager will work closely with the Accounts Receivable Head under the Accounting department at Focus Global. The position involves supervising and coordinating accounts receivable activities to ensure an accurate accounts receivable system.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for collection activities, negotiating with past due accounts, and maintaining cash receipts.
- Monitors work schedules, examines work for accuracy, and ensures compliance with policies.
- Maintains customer accounts, reconciles revenue accounts, generates invoices, and verifies deposits.
- Reviews customer returns and evaluates client terms.
Relevant Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
- 2-3 years experience in managerial accounts receivable and collection.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and result-oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
