Job Description
An Accounts Receivable Officer plays a crucial role in managing the financial transactions of an organization. As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of incoming payments, monitoring outstanding invoices, and ensuring timely collections. In this role, you need to possess excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders is vital to resolve any payment discrepancies or issues. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and recording incoming payments
- Creating and issuing invoices
- Following up on outstanding payments
- Resolving customer payment disputes or discrepancies
- Preparing financial reports related to accounts receivable
Candidates for this position should have a degree in accounting or a related field, along with a solid understanding of financial transactions. Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills are preferred.
