Job Description
An Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding invoices and payments from customers. They play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by minimizing bad debt and improving cash flow.
Key responsibilities include:
- Generating and sending accurate and timely customer invoices
- Monitoring and following up on overdue accounts
- Resolving billing discrepancies and disputes
- Negotiating payment plans with customers
- Preparing financial reports related to accounts receivable
The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. They should have a good understanding of accounting principles, be proficient in using accounting software, and have knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
