Job Description
Unleash your energy within. Be a part of the EDC Team. The position is responsible for ensuring that all technologies supporting the comptrollership, budgeting, outlooking, and forecasting processes are functioning well and these are timely updated to support the changes in top management’s strategy or in rare cases, changes in regulations or accounting standards. The role also requires being part of the team in charge of developing, executing, and updating the Finance roadmap for Digital Finance. This requires the incumbent to continually study the prevailing trends, assess the existing processes and technologies relating to Finance and its integration to other platforms in EDC’s IT architecture, and recommend through business casing the changes that add efficiency and/or effectiveness of Finance services in a cost-efficient manner. As such, this position is also crucial in indirectly supporting the primary instrument to promote the rational utilization of corporate funds. This position requires strong technical and analytical skills to effectively discharge the primary functions mentioned above.
