Job Description
- Assist in security assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans, contributing to reports and findings.
- Monitor security events and incidents, escalating as needed and assisting with containment.
- Support the implementation of security policies and standards.
- Collaborate with the security team to document and improve security processes.
- Contribute to incident response activities and assist with investigations.
- Stay informed about security trends and best practices.
- Participate in security awareness training for employees.
- Begin to develop a foundational understanding of security tools and technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Proficiencies in information security and risk assessment
- Continuous learner with industry knowledge and technology updates
- Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
- Relevant certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent are a plus
