Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Application and Systems Management Specialist to join our team. As an Application and Systems Management Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our software applications and systems used by our organization.
Your main duties will include monitoring and maintaining the performance of applications, troubleshooting issues, implementing upgrades and patches, and coordinating with developers and support teams. You will also be responsible for analyzing user requirements, configuring applications, and ensuring optimal functionality.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong background in IT and application support. You should possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment. Experience with application and system monitoring tools, such as Nagios or SolarWinds, is highly desired.
Key Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in application support or a related field
- Strong knowledge of application servers, databases, and operating systems
- Experience with monitoring and performance tuning applications
- Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
