Job Description
- Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in an MIS, systems or related field; or a 4-year college degree in an MIS related field.
- Preferred 2 years of experience working in the Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry.
- Ability to work independently and establish ownership while driving resolutions to projects.
- Ability to present complicated information in understandable terms with a strong grasp of both technical and business perspectives.
- Ability to learn NNR’s EDI monitoring software WinPortal.
- Strong critical thinking, as well as organizational, multitasking, prioritization and interpersonal communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of the global freight forwarding industry, air, ocean, and surface is an advantage.
- Employee must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Employee must have the ability to work under pressure and to deal with deadlines.
- Employee must have the ability to use basic math skills in relation to our industry standards.
- Employee must have thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office application software.
