Job Description
At Midnight’s Coffee Shop is looking for an enthusiastic assistant barista that is quick to learn, attentive, hard-working, and loves to serve coffee. The main objective of this job is to be helpful to the barista in doing services for the coffee shop. This will also serve as a training ground for you to have knowledge and learn more about making espresso-based drinks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers in a friendly manner and taking food and drink orders.
- Taking payment from customers using a POS system.
- Preparing the orders of the customers with the supervision of the barista, especially in making espresso-based drinks.
- Explaining the menu to customers with the help of the barista.
- Reporting any concerns observed in the shop, especially with equipment and the espresso machine, to the barista.
- Promoting and recommending menu options to customers.
- Assisting in reviewing and monitoring the inventory.
- Keeping the shop environment clean, sanitary, and organized.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working in a coffee shop or any related job.
- Experience in preparing beverages and light snacks.
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts.
- Basic math skills.
- The ability to gauge customers’ preferences.
- Excellent communication skills.
- At least a high school graduate.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Php8,00.00 – Php9,00.00 per month
