Job Description
As an Assistant Buyer, you will be an integral part of our procurement team, responsible for supporting the Buyer in sourcing and purchasing products for Zapato Incorporated. Your primary tasks will include researching suppliers, negotiating prices, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of purchases, inventory management, and monitoring market trends to identify potential opportunities for cost savings. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills are crucial for this role.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Prior experience in procurement or buying is preferred.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
