Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Assistant Health and Safety Manager at Mace. As the Assistant Health and Safety Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Health and Safety Manager in developing and implementing safety programs and policies.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify any potential hazards or risks.
- Provide training and education to employees on safety procedures and practices.
- Investigate accidents or incidents and recommend improvements to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
- Maintain accurate records of all safety-related activities and incidents.
- Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
