Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and mentor the Purchasing Department to ensure a high level of proficiency and development.
- Manages daily purchasing activities, supervising staff and designating tasks.
- Oversees and facilitates importations via sea and air.
- Manages supplier relations.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensures the continuity of the supply chain between the resource and the company’s needs.
- Resolve production issues and escalate unresolved issues to management promptly.
- Assist in employee hiring, training, performance evaluation, retention, and termination activities.
- Reviews and improves purchasing systems and processes.
- Ensures compliance with the standard operating procedures and working guidelines.
- Sets key performance indicators based on management policies and directives.
- Expedites operations that delay and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions with corresponding recovery plans.
- Performs related functions as maybe assigned by the superior.
- Drives the team towards the achievement of goals.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of 4 to 5 years courses preferably BS Industrial Engineering or any related courses
- At least 5 to 10 years of purchasing experience
- Knowledgeable in importation and SAP and/or other enterprise resource planning systems
- In-depth knowledge of purchasing process and operations in the manufacturing field is an advantage

Salary: Php35,00.00 – Php45,00.00 per month
