Job Description
The Assistant Tax Accounting Manager is responsible for supporting the tax accounting department in managing and ensuring accurate tax reporting and compliance. This role involves assisting in the preparation of tax returns, analyzing financial data, and supporting the tax accounting team in various tax-related projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Analyze financial data and documents to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting
- Support the tax accounting team in conducting tax research and staying updated with tax regulations
- Assist in the preparation of tax planning strategies and recommendations
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary tax-related information
- Assist in the review and reconciliation of tax accounts and records
- Participate in internal and external tax audits as required
The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of tax laws and regulations, strong analytical skills, and excellent attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel is also required.
