Job Description
The Assistant Treasury Manager will be responsible for assisting the Treasury Manager in overseeing the company’s financial liquidity, risk management, and cash flow operations. This includes conducting financial analysis, monitoring cash balances, maintaining relationships with financial institutions, and preparing reports to support strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of financial markets, banking, and investment principles. They should also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in financial software and knowledge of regulatory compliance in treasury operations are highly desired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the company’s daily cash flow, ensuring optimal liquidity levels
- Analyze financial data to identify potential risks and propose risk management strategies
- Monitor bank accounts, track cash balances, and reconcile discrepancies
- Coordinate with financial institutions to negotiate banking terms and fees
- Prepare reports on cash position, investment portfolios, and financial performance
- Support treasury projects and initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness
