Job Description
Qualifications
- Candidate must be a graduate of accounting (CPA required)
- Must have similar experience from Audit firm, Retail Industry, Manufacturing Industry
- At least 3-4 years of related experience; with audit
- Must have experience in the full cycle of accounting, generally accepted accounting principles
- Must have experience in handling governmental accounting
- Strong technical accounting background
- Strong Excel and database skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Can work under pressure and able to extend overtime when needed
- Can work with minimum to less supervision
- 1 full-time position available
Job Description
- Implementation of FDC guidelines for financial reporting
- Review and posting of inventory receiving reports, vouchers payables and check vouchers
- Maintains lapsing schedule and computes monthly depreciation for submission to Finance
- Prepares monthly bank reconciliation
- Prepares adjusting journal entries as necessary and in charge of the month end closing
- Prepares and submits weekly report and monthly financial statements for submission to Finance Manager for review
- Review monthly and quarterly government returns and remittances for submission to Finance Manager for review
- Review of inventory reconciliation and make necessary recommendation
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance to tax and BIR requirements
- Substantiate balance sheet account reconciliations and reconcile by assessing the validity, correctness, and appropriateness of the account’s balance on a monthly basis
- Support of annual audit performed by Group Auditor
- Any other duties as reasonably required
