Job Description
- Oversees the Start of Day (SOD) and End of day (EOD) daily activities to ensure all audio-video & lighting equipment and facilities are safe and operational at any given time.
- Performs repairs and routine cleaning of all AV & lighting equipment.
- Monitors equipment performance and conducts maintenance works as scheduled.
- Ensures sufficient consumables and spare parts.
- Installs, repairs, refreshes, and retires AV entertainment equipment.
- At least 2 years’ experience in audio-visual / technical theatre stage setup & operations; live events experience.
- Preferably a technical/vocational certificate/diploma in AV or Engineering course; or an equivalent combination of education and technical certifications training.
- An interest in audiovisual technology.
- Organizational skills.
- Technical and practical aptitude.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of MS software & networking protocols.
- Proactive and flexible attitude.
- Commitment to troubleshooting & problem-solving.
- In-depth knowledge of equipment and technical proficiency.
- Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building specifications.
- Willingness to work irregular hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
