Job Description
An Audit Associate is responsible for assisting in the examination and evaluation of a company’s financial records and internal controls. They work alongside senior auditors to conduct audits and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Performing detailed tests on financial statements, accounting records, and other documents.
- Identifying areas of potential risk or non-compliance.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of audit plans.
- Preparing audit reports and recommending improvements in internal controls.
- Reviewing and monitoring financial transactions and ensuring accuracy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
