Job Description
- Preparing reports of delinquent accounts for legal action such as lawsuits or referral to debt collection agencies
- Coordinating with insurance companies to ensure that claims are processed in a timely manner
- Contacting patients to confirm insurance coverage and making any necessary adjustments to accounts
- Reviewing patient accounts for accuracy, then sending out bills and collecting payments from patients on a regular basis
- Obtaining approval from insurance companies for treatment plans proposed by physicians, if required by state laws
- Negotiating with patients to arrange payment plans or accepting partial payment in exchange for extending the due date of a payment
- Preparing billing statements for patients who have recently received treatment or services from the practice
- Resolving patient complaints regarding bills or other aspects of service by contacting the provider’s office manager or supervisor
- Creating reports about billing and collections activities for management
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From Php16,00.00 per month
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
- 13th-month salary
