Job Description
BROAD SCOPE
- A Billing Manager manages billing activities and staff, ensuring accurate customer invoicing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reconcile billing accounts to the general ledger.
- Interface with accounts receivable, credit/collections, and client purchasing departments.
- Oversee accurate invoicing and bill preparation.
- Maintain client records related to invoicing.
- Review billing staff’s work for accuracy.
- Provide client invoicing priorities and support staff on collections practices.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
- BS/MA degree in Accounting or relevant field.
EXPERIENCE
- 5-8 years of experience as a Billing Manager or similar role.
- Preferred experience in Logistics Company operations.
SKILLS
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of collection laws.
- Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills.
- Professionalism and relevant certifications.
