A bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining financial records and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. They are responsible for recording daily financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, and producing financial reports. Bookkeepers are also often involved in keeping track of invoices, processing payroll, and managing accounts payable and receivable.
A successful bookkeeper should have strong mathematical skills and great attention to detail. They should also be proficient in using accounting software and be familiar with basic financial principles and regulations.
