Job Description
As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for accurately recording and maintaining the company’s financial transactions in accordance with UK accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and adherence to UK accounting guidelines.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including issuing invoices and tracking payments.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain cash flow statements.
- Handle VAT returns, ensuring compliance with UK tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for review by management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably with a focus on UK Accounts.
- Strong understanding of UK accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
