Job Description
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in human resources, accounting, or related field
- Proven experience as a BPO payroll executive or in a similar role in the Philippines
- In-depth knowledge of local labour laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
- Proficient in payroll software and MS office applications
Responsibilities
- Process and administer accurate and timely payroll for employees in accordance with local regulations and company policies
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, including the calculation and deduction of statutory contributions
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams together and validate employee data, ensuring completeness and accuracy of payroll processing
- Stay updated on changes in local labour laws and regulations to ensure payroll practices aligned with legal requirements
- Prepare and submit government reports, tax filings, and other statutory requirements as needed
- Coordinate with external vendors for payroll-related services and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Conduct regular audits to identify and rectify payroll discrepancies and ensure data integrity
- Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures
