Job Description
The job of the Business Unit Head covers the entire sales operations of the organization, specifically the Life Science Division of Biosite Medical Instruments, Inc.
The Business Unit Head is responsible for overseeing all stages of the sales processes, generating sales, forecasting sales revenue, creating product strategy and business requirements for new features or products, and executing the product strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for both product planning and product marketing.
- Execute product strategy.
- Preparing sales budget and sales projections.
- Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics.
- Serving as the face of the organization to internal and external partners.
- Developing and nurturing relationships with key customer accounts.
- Setting sales quotas and goals.
- Conduct product presentations to clients.
- Communicate with principals for support and training needed.
- Attend trainings and cascade trainings to Product and Application Specialists/Product and Application team, and clients.
