Job Description
EMS Group is seeking a CAD Administrator to manage our PDM system – ECTR. This position will focus on both legacy bikes and New Product Introductions. As the CAD Administrator, you will work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure data integrity and be the gatekeeper for all our CAD data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain top-level assemblies
- Review and check drawings for all engineering work
- Restructure top-level assemblies for new architecture
- Collaborate with partners on CAD integration and design
- Support engineering on best modeling and drafting practices
- Maintain drawing and model templates
- Act as the administrator for the PDM
Required Experience:
- Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team
- Understanding of Solidworks and model practices
- Experience with PDM tools, Change Control, and Configuration Management in an automotive manufacturing organization
- Demonstrate understanding of GD&T and Stack up analysis
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with CAD and Drafting
