Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our team, specifically for tile drafting and layouts, including floor plans and elevations based on selections made within our tile studio.
Responsibilities
- Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SolidWorks or Sketchup to create detailed drawings
- Collaborate with internal office staff to produce quality tile renderings
- Develop schematics, layouts, and designs
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications
- Revise drawings based on feedback from office staff
- Assist in creating full renderings when needed
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Sketchup
- Experience with Civil 3D and NavisWorks is a plus
- Strong understanding of tile design principles and layouts
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- A degree or certification in drafting or a related field is preferred
