Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and recipes.
- Ensure all food is cooked to the highest standards of taste, quality, and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper handling and storage of ingredients.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely food preparation and service.
- Assist with menu planning and recipe development as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal culinary training or relevant experience is preferred.
- Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role within a food service environment.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
