Job Description
- Handles petty cash fund, maintains and replenishes the fund.
- Receives incoming cash/checks from customers paid in personally or through bank transfer/deposit.
- Issues official/provisional receipts for cash/checks received from the clients.
- Prepares daily cash tally sheet (daily collection report) for submission to the President.
- Monitors bounced checks.
- Examines currency to detect counterfeit or damaged money.
- Handles cash count to compare amount with slips or cash receipts.
- Prepares cash reconciliation at the end of the day.
- Submits daily the validated copy of the deposit slip attached with the official/provisional receipts to the accounting department.
- Performs other duties as the need arises.
