Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Process customer payments using a point-of-sale system
- Handle cash, credit card, and other types of payments
- Calculate and issue change accurately
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances
- Provide receipts and other documentation to customers as needed
- Ensure all transactions are recorded properly in the system
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist with inventory management as needed
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise
- Prepare and submit reports on a timely basis
- Comply with company policies and procedures
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications
- Computer Literate; Must be proficient in MS Excel
- Has keen attention to details
- Highly skilled in providing timely, efficient, considerate customer service
- Meticulous competency in up-selling relevant products and services
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Must be knowledgeable with credit/debit card transactions
- Willing to work in flexible hours
