Job Description
A Cashier is responsible for handling cash transactions and providing excellent customer service. They play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of a retail store or business. Cashier duties include accurately handling cash, processing customer purchases, managing refunds and exchanges, and ensuring the cash register is balanced at the end of the shift. Additionally, Cashiers may be required to assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and general store cleanliness.
A successful Cashier should have strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills. They should be able to work efficiently under pressure and provide exceptional customer service. Previous experience in cash handling and customer service is preferred.
