Job Description
A cashier is responsible for handling financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining a positive customer experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Processing sales transactions and operating cash registers
- Handling customer inquiries and providing assistance
- Maintaining a clean and organized checkout area
- Managing cash drawer and balancing daily transactions
- Resolving customer complaints or issues
The ideal candidate for this position should have strong math skills, good attention to detail, and excellent customer service abilities. Experience in cash handling and proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems are preferred.
