Job Description
- Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to designated storage locations.
- Efficiently stack and store the material into the appropriate areas.
- Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage area into trucks or trailers.
- Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and material using a forklift.
- Maintain the forklift and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion prior to the start of the operation, inspect, and perform minor maintenance on the unit.
- Ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods.
- Load and unload product from and onto trucks.
- Record hour meter run and diesel consumption of the forklift.
- Responsible for the forklifts undergoing the needed preventive maintenance.
- Perform other tasks which may be assigned from time to time.
